Black Cat Skirt

An inky menagerie marches across this skirt, a procession of black felines forever pacing its hem. Each beautiful cat seems carved from obsidian, sharp edges and baleful gazes chiseled from midnight.

Row upon row stalk against a void of absence, an endless night of silk from which they seem glimpsed, as if the skirt has torn a hole in reality itself. Through this rent in worlds, an army of obsidian cats prowls endlessly, mimicking the strides of their wearer yet never quite in step.

Each black cat bears witness, its stare a panopticon narrowly observing all. No patch of skin or movement goes unnoticed. Although quadrupedal shadows, these cats retain the sinister sentience of their kind. They whisper a constant background chatter of dread plots and darker designs.
